UHERMAN Charles Bosman wayengowohlanga lwamaBhunu owabhala izincwadi eziningi esingabala kuzo iMafeking Road, iCold Stone Jug, iBest of Herman Charles Bosman, i-Unto Dust and Other Stories nezinye eziningi. Uchazwa njengowafunda kakhulu izincwadi zikaMark Twain no-Edgar Allan Poe. Kuzona wafunda kakhulu ukusebenzisa isathaya (okuyindlela yokudlulisa umbiko osemqoka kusetshenziswa umbhinqo).

Ezindabeni ezimfushane zikaBosman kukhona enesihloko esithi, ‘The Love Portion’ nethi ‘Unto Dust’. Indaba kaBosman ifika kuvuthondaba lapho ithimba lamaBhunu elikhishwe ngumfelokazi wendoda yeBhunu eyabulawa ngowoHlanga emosha eside isikhathi ezama ukuhlukanisa amathambo acabanga ukuthi ngawomhlophe kulawo awomnyama. Kulamula ukushona kwelanga ingwadla ingathombululeki kuze kuthi seliyozilahla kunina amaBhunu akuqoqe lokho ayesezanelise ngokuthi kungamathambo kazakwabo omhlophe.
